Whitesnake’s David Coverdale introduced he’s retiring after 5 many years in rock music.
The 74-year-old singer shared the information in a video message to his followers.
“Ladies and gents, girls and boys, brothers and sisters of the Snake, a particular announcement for you,” he stated in a video posted to YouTube.

“After 50 years-plus of an unbelievable journey with you — with Deep Purple, with Whitesnake, Jimmy Page — the previous couple of years it has been very evident to me that it’s time actually for me to hold up my rock ‘n’ roll platform footwear and my skintight denims,” he defined.
“And as you may see, we’ve taken care of the lion’s wig,” he continued, joking about his hair. “But it’s time for me to name it a day,” Coverdale concluded. “I like you dearly. I thank everybody who’s assisted and supported me on this unbelievable journey: all of the musicians, the crew, the followers, the household. It’s superb. But it truly is time for me to simply get pleasure from my retirement, and I hope you may admire that.”
