  • Basmati rice 1 cup
  • Cauliflower florets 1 cup
  • Carrot (diced) 2/3 cup
  • Beans (1 inch chopped) 1/2 cup
  • Onion (finely chopped) 1 medium
  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Green chilli 2-3 items
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Bay leaf 2 items
  • Clove 4 items
  • Cinnamon stick 2 inches
  • Green cardamom 4 items
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves (finely chopped) 2 tbsp
  • Water 2 cups
  • Take basmati rice in a bowl with sufficient water and soak it for half-hour. I used the traditional basmati rice from @heavnesharvestbasmati

  • Heat oil or in a frying pan.

  • Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, inexperienced cardamoms, cloves and cinnamon.

  • When the seeds begin to pop, add onions and inexperienced chilli. Fry till the onions flip translucent.

  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 1 minute to take away the uncooked scent.

  • Then add crimson chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder.

  • Pour in water and stir gently. Season with salt to style.
