Trump’s ultimatum for Maduro: Letters

The Issue: President Trump telling Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro to resign or face navy motion.

While President Trump has justifiably pursued felony drug traffickers from Venezuela, Democrats have protested the legality of navy motion, regardless of related navy interventions by former President Barack Obama and others towards ISIS and the Taliban (“Don: clock is ticking, Nic,” Dec. 1).

Unfortunately, many Americans seem extra involved with home financial points than overseas coverage successes.

Our president’s threats to Nicolás Maduro are an abuse of energy and governmental overreach.

Congress must step in instantly and forestall additional escalation.

Also, what’s stopping Trump from forcing a regime change in Russia and China, whose leaders make Maduro seem like a choir boy?

If I had been Maduro, I’d inform Trump I wouldn’t step down till he forces Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping to step down first.

Trump is doing the appropriate factor by blowing up drug boats on the way in which to this nation.

People who disagree are saying it’s OK to deliver medication into this nation to kill our residents.

I believe we have to develop a capsule for frequent sense.

The “peace” president, has successfully declared conflict on Venezuela.

He has threatened a no-fly zone and a “boots on the bottom” invasion.

Trump’s taking full benefit of the essential rule of life: You can do no matter you need till somebody stops you.

Congress, whose job is to comprise the president, has uncared for its responsibility and unleashed a monster.

Maduro’s a dictator who’s destroying each his personal nation and our personal with medication.

He’s poisoning our youth and his egregious actions should cease.

Trump will do that by destroying boats which can be carrying medication and, hopefully, inciting a change of regime in Venezuela, bringing again democracy and releasing Venezuelans.

Let freedom ring!

While I agree with most of what was mentioned within the current editorial, I maintain listening to that hit music of a bygone period, “Weapons of Mass Destruction” (“Maduro Must Go,” Editorial, Dec. 1).

Let’s pray that if Trump goes by with navy motion, he may have all his geese lined up within the correct trend.

The Issue: The Affordable Care Act’s ongoing destructive impression on health-care prices.

Obamacare is the federal authorities’s one-size-fits-all technique that’s led to rising premiums and rising uncertainty within the health-care market (“Obamacare Crashing,” Editorial, Nov. 30).

Now, we’d like state-based options to handle the health-insurance issues.

Before Obamacare, Wisconsin had a strong program — Health Insurance Risk Sharing Plan — which supplied medical health insurance to individuals with pre-existing circumstances who had been denied protection by insurance coverage firms.

When Obamacare was applied, this system was eradicated and hundreds of individuals misplaced insurance coverage protection.

It is time to provide states the ability to design medical health insurance plans for his or her particular populations once more.

The inevitable failure of Obamacare was a function, not a bug.

The program was designed to break down and depart “tens of tens of millions of Americans within the lurch,” to permit for a future Democrat cavalry to experience in and save the day with socialized drugs.

This was the last word purpose.
