Trump says US struck one other ‘drug smuggling vessel’, killing three | News

BREAKING,

US president says American forces struck the vessel within the Southern Command’s ‘space of accountability’.

United States President Donald Trump says American forces have carried out one other strike concentrating on a ship that he claimed was “trafficking illicit narcotics”, killing a minimum of three males on board the vessel.

The announcement, late on Friday, marks the third time the US has claimed a lethal assault on an alleged drug smuggling vessel this month.

In a put up on his Truth Social platform, Trump mentioned the “deadly kinetic strike” occurred on his orders within the US Southern Command’s “space of accountability” – a area that encompasses 31 international locations in South and Central America and the Caribbean.

“Intelligence confirmed the vessel was trafficking illicit narcotics, and was transiting alongside a recognized narcotrafficking passage en path to poison Americans,” Trump mentioned.

“The strike killed 3 male narcoterrorists aboard the vessel, which was in worldwide waters. No US Forces had been harmed on this strike.”

The US has twice this month carried out strikes towards alleged drug-smuggling vessels that had originated in Venezuela.
