Thane: The Thane Police has introduced a visitors advisory for commuters because of the building of an underpass at Kalwa’s Kharegaon on National Highway No. 3 alongside the Vadape–Thane stretch. The underpass is a part of the infrastructure work on the Mumbai–Nashik hall. According to the official notification by the Thane Police, the development of the underpass at Kharegaon can be carried out in two phases.
In an official round shared on X (previously Twitter), it states that the visitors notification will stay in pressure for twenty-four hours, beginning December 15 at 12 pm to January 9 at 1 am. In addition to this, the visitors notification is not going to apply to police automobiles, fireplace brigade, ambulances, police automobiles and different important service automobiles.
Know Which Roads Will Remain Closed and Their Alternate Routes
– All sorts of automobiles going in the direction of Kharegaon from Kharegaon Underpass on Mumbai Nashik Highway can be ‘closed’ at Kharegaon Underpass. Alternate route: The automobiles can take a left flip from Kharegaon Band Toll Plaza and proceed to the specified vacation spot through Gammon Parsik Circle.
– All sorts of automobiles happening and going in the direction of Khorgaon at Kharegaon Underpass on the Nashik Mumbai Highway will stay closed at Kharegaon Underpass. Alternate route: These automobiles will then take a left flip at Saket Cut and proceed to the specified vacation spot through Saket Complex through Creek Naka.
– All sorts of automobiles going in the direction of Bhiwandi from Kharegaon utilizing the underpass at Kharegaon Cut and likewise going in the direction of Thane from Kharegaon Underpass can be ‘closed’ at Kharegaon Underpass.
Alternate route: The automobiles can proceed from Kharegaon Parsik Circle, Gammon Circle, Kharegaon Band Toll Plaza to their desired vacation spot. Similarly, automobiles going in the direction of Thane metropolis will proceed from Kharegaon, Kalwa Naka, to the specified vacation spot.
