BANGKOK — Thailand launched airstrikes alongside the disputed border with Cambodia on Monday as each side accused the opposite of attacking first.

Thai military spokesperson Maj.-Gen. Winthai Suvaree stated the Cambodian troops fired first into Thai territory in a number of areas. He stated one Thai soldier was killed and 4 different troopers have been wounded, and civilians have been being evacuated from the affected areas.
