Young Australians say they’ve been sidelined in discussions about Australia’s teen social media ban.
New analysis about teenagers’ views on the incoming social media minimal age coverage discovered that they need adults to enhance social media and never ban it.
Researchers from round Australia carried out 30 minute interviews with 86 younger individuals aged 12 to fifteen, from quite a lot of backgrounds, places and social media habits.
The research, by Queensland University of Technology’s Digital Media Research Centre, then analysed the responses, which confirmed that younger individuals have subtle views on the advantages and harms of social media.
