Rome to stage free live performance on New Year’s Eve at Circus Maximus

Rome to ring in 2026 with free live performance on the Circus Maximus.

Rome will ring within the New Year with a free live performance on the Circus Maximus that includes singer Alessandra Amoroso, rapper Fabri Fibra and hip-hop artist Tananai, town introduced on Monday.

The live performance will kick off at 21.00 on 31 December, with radio station Dimensione Suono Roma conserving the occasion going into the wee hours with a dj set by JJ Carrozzo and a particular present by Don Cash.

Hailing the free Capodanno live performance as a “custom beloved of Romans”, town’s mayor Roberto Gualtieri stated: “We’re assured it will likely be an incredible success, and I invite everybody to take part.”

Tourism councillor Alessandro Onorato famous that the artists within the line-up “usually fill stadiums and arenas for a price, so this is a chance to offer everybody the chance to expertise an incredible second of togetherness without cost.”

Rome subways will keep open till on New Year’s Eve, till 02.30, with evening buses circulating from 02.30 till 08.00 on 1 January 2026, New Year’s Day.
