A New York City police officer was wounded within the face throughout a shootout with a murder suspect in Brooklyn Monday, regulation enforcement sources stated.
The injured officer was at a scene of a murder that occurred earlier within the morning in Brownsville when the alleged gunman confirmed up with a shotgun and opened fireplace, sources stated.
The officer suffered wounds to his face and was rushed to a Brookdale Hospital.
Both the harm cop and one other NYPD officer who have been guarding the crime scene each returned fireplace.
The shooter barricaded himself within the residence at 1046 Thomas S Boyland Street and later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, sources stated.
The suspect has not but been recognized.
