Police have arrested a person following the suspicious loss of life of a girl whose physique was found inside a house in Melbourne’s north.
Homicide detectives are inspecting the circumstances surrounding the loss of life of the 44-year-old, who they are saying was critically assaulted in Epping on Thursday night.
Emergency companies responded to experiences of an unresponsive girl at a property on Gottloh Street at 5.50pm.
Paramedics attended the house, however the girl died on the scene. A 50-year-old Lalor man was later arrested on Thursday night time and shall be interviewed by police.
Police imagine the pair had been identified to one another.
While the reason for loss of life continues to be undetermined, police are treating the loss of life as suspicious.
