From September 16 to November 1, 2025, the Roberto Casamonti Collection will showcase a particular exhibition devoted to flowers by way of the works of three nice Twentieth-century masters: Chaïm Soutine, Filippo de Pisis and Marc Chagall.
The exhibition, titled Les Fleurs, brings collectively three totally different inventive visions of a timeless topic. On show can be Bouquet de rose à la statue de piatre (1918) by Soutine, Vaso di fiori in un interno (ca. 1945) by de Pisis, and Fleurs dans un vase bleu (1936) by Chagall. Each work highlights the artists’ distinctive sensibility, from the depth of Soutine’s brushstrokes to the refined stillness of de Pisis and the dreamlike lyricism of Chagall.
The initiative is a part of the museum’s ongoing challenge to reintroduce works from the primary part of the gathering, which options artwork from the early Twentieth century to the Nineteen Sixties. Every month, new items are rotated out of storage and positioned on view, making a dynamic dialogue with the second part of the gathering, devoted to artwork from the Nineteen Sixties to the current day.
Since opening in 2018 on the noble flooring of Palazzo Bartolini Salimbeni, a Renaissance palace by Baccio d’Agnolo in Piazza Santa Trinita, the Roberto Casamonti Collection has supplied guests an intensive overview of each Italian and worldwide trendy artwork. Alongside Soutine, de Pisis and Chagall, the broader everlasting show options names equivalent to Boetti, Schifano, Miró, Basquiat, Warhol and Christo.
The exhibition is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 1 pm and a pair of pm to 7 pm (final admission 6:30 pm). The museum is closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays.
