
Irpinia shaken by collection of tremors since Friday. No studies of injury.
The Irpinia territory within the coronary heart of Italy’s southern Campania area was shaken on Saturday evening by a 4.0-magnitude earthquake, the strongest in a collection of tremors registered since Friday.
The earthquake which occurred at 21.49 at a depth of 14 kilometres, with its epicentre situated one kilometre south-west of Montefredane within the province of Avellino, Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) mentioned in a press release.

The quake was felt clearly in Avellino and neighbouring cities in addition to within the provinces of Benevento, Salerno and Naples, information company ANSA studies.
