Investigations launched into separate stabbing incidents in SEQ



Police have charged a 35-year-old man with tried homicide, following two separate stabbing incidents in south-east Queensland over the weekend.

Emergency providers have been referred to as to a house on Bank Street in Park Ridge about 10pm on Friday following experiences of an altercation between two males.

A 27-year-old Regents Park man was positioned in a life-threatening situation after struggling an alleged stab wound to the chest.

He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for therapy.

Police arrested a 35-year-old Park Ridge man on the residence of the alleged combat and mentioned they discovered the knife that had allegedly been used.

Police imagine the pair are identified to one another.

Security footage confirmed the injured man stumbling alongside a close-by avenue, screaming out for assist, earlier than approaching a home with its lights on.

A resident, who didn’t need to be recognized, advised Nine News that the stabbed man was “in a nasty state” and “there was blood in every single place”.

He was discovered a short while later by paramedics.
