Kolkata, Nov 10 (PTI) IIT-Kharagpur Director Professor Suman Chakraborty was the “solely invited tutorial head of an Indian institute” to take part within the prestigious ‘Falling Walls Science Summit 2025’ in Berlin, an official stated on Monday.
The summit, held final week, convenes Nobel laureates, innovators, international policymakers and college leaders to debate transformative concepts shaping the way forward for science and know-how, he stated.
Representing IIT-Kharagpur and India, Chakraborty showcased the institute’s frontier analysis and innovation ecosystem, “emphasising its function as a world driver of interdisciplinary science, sustainable know-how and inclusive innovation”, an institute spokesperson stated.
Chakraborty positioned IIT-Kharagpur as a future-ready establishment advancing training, analysis and innovation by means of deep worldwide partnerships, he stated.
“It was an honour to symbolize IIT-Kharagpur and India at this international confluence of concepts. The spirit of collaboration and innovation at ‘Falling Walls’ reinforces our mission to construct IIT-Kharagpur as a world nexus of science, know-how, and societal transformation,” Chakraborty stated.
