M. Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, had a gathering with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on Tuesday 11 November.
The Minister expressed his condolences following the explosion in New Delhi on 10 November 2025, which killed a number of folks and wounded many others.
The two ministers mentioned disaster conditions and cooperation within the struggle towards terrorism.
The Minister and his Indian counterpart agreed to proceed deepening the strategic partnership between France and India.
They emphasised the significance of bolstering educational and scientific cooperation throughout the India-France Year of Innovation in 2026, and forward of the AI Action Summit, which India will host subsequent 12 months.
Finally, they agreed to work collectively in 2026, within the framework of the French G7 presidency and the Indian BRICS presidency, for a more practical multilateralism and improved responses to main world imbalances.
