Ontario Premier Doug Ford made a weekend go to to Barrie, Ont., the place he joined Mayor Alex Nuttall in touring the town’s homeless encampments.

Nuttall referred to as for provincial assist earlier this month after declaring a state of emergency over the encampments, citing issues over public security.

On Facebook, Nuttall mentioned he and Ford particularly toured Milligan’s Pond, and mentioned the necessity for municipalities to implement bylaws and deal with points like psychological well being, habit and reasonably priced housing.

Nuttall added that the scenario in Barrie requires co-ordination between all ranges of presidency.
