DNA Mismatch Hit Victim’s Certificates



Hyderabad: The mismatch of DNA collected from just a few family members with that of Madina bus accident victims has delayed the issuance of dying and burial certificates.

“The DNA of two or three victims was not matching with their family members. This led to an additional examination by authorities, affecting the method of issuing compensation,” minorities welfare secretary B. Shafiullah advised Deccan Chronicle.

“One of the samples was despatched to the CCMB (Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology), whose report is being awaited. Once the report comes, the report will be despatched to the consulate in Jeddah. Hopefully, the method will likely be accomplished in per week,” he mentioned.

Recently, the anxious family members urged the federal government to pursue situation of the delay within the issuance of dying certificates to make insurance coverage claims.

“In view of our emotional and monetary misery, we request the Telangana Haj Committee to increase help, coordination, correspondence, steering, and follow-up with the Consulate General of India, Jeddah, to the Saudi authorities for expediting the unintended insurance coverage declare settlement at earliest,” mentioned Mufti Asif, who misplaced six of his relations within the tragedy.
