POLICE trying to find an aged Briton who vanished from her residence in southern Spain have found a physique mendacity in vegetation beside a motorway.
Geraldine Ann, 73, disappeared in mid-September after leaving her home in Chirivel, close to Granada, after a row together with her husband.
She reportedly left the property late at night time in her pyjamas and flip-flops to feed some cats after arguing together with her companion, who reported her lacking to police the subsequent day.

But a physique has now been found mendacity close to a motorway, which investigators consider is Geraldine.

The discovery was made underneath a mile from the expat’s residence in Andalucia.
In an announcement, Chirivel’s city corridor stated: “We profoundly remorse to have to tell you {that a} physique has been discovered by the A-92 motorway regarded as that of our neighbour Geraldine, pending official affirmation from the authorities.”
The physique has since been taken for an post-mortem the place will probably be formally recognized.
Speaking on the time of her disappearance, the mayor of Chirivel, Jose Torregrosa Mota, stated: “She suffered from senile dementia and the night time she went lacking she’d apparently had a small argument together with her husband and left residence.”
