Three individuals have been injured in an explosion at a restaurant within the centre of the French metropolis of Lyon on Tuesday morning.
Two of these damage are reported to be in a severe situation after the explosion within the Rue de la Monnaie within the centre of the town.
The Casabea restaurant posted on social media {that a} ‘technical subject’ was the reason for the explosion – engineers from Gaz de France are on the scene together with emergency providers.

Local media reported that the trigger was a fuel leak within the restaurant’s kitchen.
A cordon has been arrange, closing off the encompassing space.
