Spanish PM’s brother indicted over corruption probe

MADRID – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s brother, David, will face trial for alleged malfeasance and affect peddling alongside ten others, together with Extremadura’s Socialist chief Miguel Ángel Gallardo, accused of making a public publish “advert hoc” on the native council of Badajoz.

Mounting corruption probes now encompass the prime minister, with former cupboard members, senior Socialist officers, and even his family members implicated in alleged kickbacks, rigged tenders, and affect peddling – a scandal that threatens Pedro Sánchez’s fragile minority coalition.
