Fugitive finally ends up behind bars after the mayor of an Italian city noticed him posing among the many statues in a Christmas crib.
A person on the run from police in Italy was arrested on Saturday in Galatone, within the southern Puglia area, after he was found posing as a statue in a large-scale Nativity scene.
The man, a 38-year-old from Ghana, was first noticed within the crib scene by none apart from the city’s mayor, Flavio Filoni, in line with native information outlet LeccePrima.
