Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia introduced Tuesday that she intends to vote in opposition to the proposed fiscal 12 months 2026 National Defense Authorization Act, saying the laws spends an excessive amount of taxpayer cash on overseas priorities.
Greene stated in a put up on X that the NDAA is “full of American’s hard-earned tax {dollars} used to fund overseas support and overseas nation’s wars.”

“These American People are $38 Trillion in debt, affected by an affordability disaster, on the verge of a healthcare disaster, and bank card debt is at an all time excessive. Funding overseas support and overseas wars is America Last and is past excuse anymore. I’d like to fund our army however refuse to help overseas support and overseas militaries and overseas wars. But House Speaker Mike Johnson has praised the proposed NDAA.
