Srinagar: Police on Tuesday took the mom of the person who was suspected to be driving the automobile that exploded close to the Red Fort for a DNA check in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, officers stated right here. “We have taken the mom of the suspect to gather DNA samples as a way to match with the elements discovered on the scene of the blast,” an official stated.
Dr Umar Nabi was allegedly driving the Hyundai i20 automobile that was used within the blast close to the parking space of the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday, killing no less than 12 individuals. He hails from Koil village in Pulwama, they stated. Two brothers of the suspect accompanied their mom to the hospital. The officers stated three individuals — who have been linked to sale and buy of the automobile concerned within the blast — have been detained for questioning.
