An 18-year-old Texas Tech pupil was arrested and expelled after she was caught on video making disturbing feedback at a vigil for Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, officers say.
Shocking video reveals Camryn Giselle Booker shouting at college students gathered Friday close to the college’s Student Union Building throughout a vigil for the conservative activist, allegedly yelling, “F–k y’all homie lifeless, he bought shot within the head.”Â
Booker was arrested and charged with one rely of assault, labeled as a Class C misdemeanor in Texas — the bottom degree of felony offense, a spokesperson for the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office informed Fox News Digital on Monday.

Texas Tech moreover confirmed on Monday that Booker was now not enrolled on the college, Fox affiliate, FOX 4 News reported.
“Any conduct that denigrates victims of violence is reprehensible, has no place on our campus, and isn’t aligned with our values,” Texas Tech University mentioned in a press release. “Federal regulation prevents Texas Tech University from commenting on particular person pupil conduct issues. We take all reported violations severely and tackle them underneath college coverage and the regulation.”

In the video, Booker seems to shout at college students earlier than taunting a person carrying a crimson “Make America Great Again” hat. He pans his digicam towards her, saying: “Evil is actual, individuals, and it form of seems to be like that.”
When he asks Booker why she is being hateful, she turns her cellphone on him and fires again, “Why are you so hateful?” a number of occasions.

The video then reveals the person asking Booker to again up from him, to which she responds, “Can you not put the digicam in my face?”Â
The man then replies, “You walked as much as me. … I don’t need this. I mentioned relaxation in peace. Just depart it alone. I need to be left alone.”
Tensions escalate additional when somebody off-camera accuses Booker of being overly emotional.Â

“I’m not being emotional, ma’am,” Booker says. “Don’t inform me what I’m and what I’m not. You might get out of my face ‘trigger I can inform you what you might be, however you received’t prefer it.”Â
Booker then provides, “You’re calling me aggressive as a result of I’m a Black girl.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott weighed in on the incident on Sunday, posting a photograph of Booker being arrested on X, together with the caption: “This is what occurred to the one that was mocking Charlie Kirk’s assassination at Texas Tech. FAFO.”
Booker posted a $200 bond and was launched from jail Saturday afternoon, the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson informed Fox News Digital.
A consultant of Booker declined to remark.Â
